More Than An LMS: Repurposing Canvas

The hot new Learning Management System, Canvas, is great for academic courses. But what else can it be used for? Come learn how to repurpose your LMS as a content repository, template creator, department/discipline "headquarters," and faculty training tool. We will look at many creative uses for your LMS-Canvas or something else-outside of academic course delivery.

Our speakers are Laura Lawrence and Tracey DeLillo:

Laura Lawrence is the Director of Instructional & Professional Development at Northwest Vista College. She leads the distance learning department and the faculty development programs; she is primarily responsible for developing and delivering training on a variety of subjects and technologies. She also teaches speech; both in-person and online.

Tracey DeLillo is an Instructional Technology Specialist at the Alamo Colleges. Her mission is to assist faculty, staff, and students throughout the district as they traverse the ever-changing educational technology landscape. She is the Queen of Canvas, and in her spare time provides training and support for numerous other tech tools used in and out of the classroom.

This presentation is widely applicable to our broad-base ELL audience: business/industry, k-12, higher ed, and government. Join us at our March ELL session!
