We’re having another round of “show and tell” of mobile applications at our May 2013 eLearning Lunch & Learn (ELL) meeting. Several speakers will quickly show 2-3 apps, so this will be one of our fast-paced sessions. Joanna Hernandez (Goodwill Industries) will show Evernote and Keynote on the iPad. Laura Lawrence (Northwest Vista, Alamo Colleges) will demonstrate several travel apps she uses in her professional travels. Carol Wall, a project manager for the Chief Learning Office, Air Education and Training Command, Joint Base San Antonio Randolph, will show apps the Air Force has developed.
If time is available, we may have a few more impromptu demonstrations. Note that we are meeting on the 4th Wednesday of the month as we typically do. Our June ELL meeting will NOT be held due to SAASTD’s LEAPS conference will be on Friday, 28 June (visit to www.saastd.org for more information). The large ISTE conference (www.iste.org) is also in San Antonio that week. Our next ELL will be 24 July 2013.
