Can Gaming Make a Better World?
One of our colleagues recently posted on LinkedIn a comment about Jane McGonigal’s TED talk on the influence and pervasiveness of gaming. The gaming industry is huge and many organizations have been or are at least beginning to explore using games in training and education.
Let’s discuss gaming in education and training at the upcoming eLearning Lunch & Learn session on December 14. If you can, take time (20 minutes) to watch the TED Talk by Jane McGonigal. She makes some interesting points about gaming. There are four specific ones beginning around the 9:00 minute mark of the video.

This will be a discussion format, not a lecture/presentation event. In other words, come and share your ideas!
