eLearning Lunch & Learn: Favorite Mobile Apps

The January eLearning Lunch & Learn session will give you an opportunity to showcase your favorite mobile applications which may be of use to trainers and educators. During the session we’ll have several speakers describe and demonstrate their apps in 5-10 minute mini-presentations. The mobile apps can be for planning, developing, delivering, and/or managing instruction; assessing students’ learning; and/or evaluating the education/training project. In other words, show us your favorite apps. 

 This is a show & tell session, so we’re asking you to volunteer (we know you love an audience) to present.

• Do you use Evernote? What do you like about it?
• Do you use video-teleconferencing on your mobile devices? If so, which one(s) and what works best? 
• What Google, Microsoft, or other productivity tools do you use? 
• Do you use any survey tools, such as Google Forms, Survey Monkey, or iForm?
• Do you know of any apps that allow you to tag text to photos? How do you cite your sources of where you downloaded photos? 
  

Please consider presenting your favorite mobile apps. Plan to show your mobile app for 5-10 minutes during the ELL session. We’ll want to know the name of the app, its cost, how you’ve used it, and any limitations you have found. It’s a good time to share your experiences in this informal session.
