Summary: We’re sure you’ve heard of Augmented Reality and some of the very cool applications of it in education and training. Here’s an opportunity to see applications of it and learn about the tools and an AR development process. Jeremy Kenisky, Director of 3D / Interactive at Geomedia, Inc., will walk us through a brief history of augmented reality to current technology, including both hardware and software. He will show examples of applications and solutions different organizations have deployed in a variety of industries. Finally, he will describe how to implement augmented reality solutions in your business, with rough ideas of timelines, costs, and total overall investment required to create a successful AR program. Technologies available for hands on demo will include Google Glass, Project Tango, Cardboard, and various tablet AR apps.
