James Santos, Vice President of Learning and Development along with his team, has been working throughout 2014 on a major conversion in their training department. He will discuss what it took to plan, survive and thrive during this major core conversion. He will discuss his partnership with corporate offices in order for the conversion to be a major success. We will also tour their state of the art training facility.
About James: In his current role at RBFCU, he leads the learning, service, and sales department of a credit union with more than 475,000 members, 45 branches (San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas) and $6 billion in assets. Responsibilities include employee education (technical and leadership development) sales, and service, culture development, budget and resource management, eLearning and Learning Management System administration, corporate and community financial education and literacy development, change management, and core conversion. Prior to RBFCU, James held various positions at Wachovia Bank and USAA Federal Savings Bank. James also completed a 20 year career with the United States Air Force in areas as administration, protocol, and training.
